Contact & Removal

Last updated: September 23, 2026

Recovery Meetings is maintained by a small team. We read every message and we take correction and removal requests seriously.

Removal requests are honoured within 7 days. If your group does not want to appear here, we will remove it. No explanation required.

How to reach us

Use the feedback form in the app: open Recovery Meetings, tap the Profile tab, then Send feedback. Choose “Report a problem” for corrections and removal requests, or “Contact” for anything else.

You can also email us directly at contact@recovery.fankar.us.

Removing or correcting a meeting listing

Group secretaries, service representatives, and anyone with a legitimate interest may request that a meeting be corrected or removed. Please include:

  • The meeting name and the program it belongs to (AA, NA, SMART, etc.)
  • The city or location where it appears
  • What should change — or that it should be removed entirely

No explanation is required for removal requests. We will process the request within 7 days and send a confirmation if you provided contact details.

What “removal” means here

Recovery Meetings aggregates listings from third-party sources — AA's TSML feed, NA's BMLT, Pathminder, and others. When we receive a removal request:

  • We suppress the listing in our app immediately — the meeting will no longer appear in search results within 7 days of your request, regardless of what the upstream source shows.
  • For permanent removal from the source, you will also need to contact the upstream service directly: your AA Intergroup, NA service office, or the fellowship's official meeting-list administrator. Removing it there ensures it doesn't reappear if our data refreshes.

For snapshot-only sources (Marijuana Anonymous, Recovery Dharma, Refuge Recovery), we can remove the listing from our display immediately and it will not return until the next manual snapshot refresh.

Other questions

For general feedback, feature requests, or questions about how data is handled, use the feedback form or email contact@recovery.fankar.us. See our Data Sources page for details on where listings come from and our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Partnership and fellowship inquiries
